Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you use Forge, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and payment information when you subscribe to a paid plan. We also collect usage data including project activity, AI chat interactions (token counts, not message content), and standard server logs.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve Forge
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, billing notifications)
• Monitor and prevent abuse of the platform
• Track credit usage for billing accuracy

3. Your code and projects

Your project source code, files, and configuration are stored in isolated Kubernetes namespaces. We do not access, read, or share your project content except as necessary to provide the service (e.g., when Claude processes your files during an AI chat session). Project data is deleted when you delete a project.

4. AI chat data

Messages you send through the AI chat are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. We store conversation history to provide continuity within your project. We track token counts for billing but do not use your message content for training or analytics.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management
• Anthropic — AI model provider for Claude
• Resend — Transactional email delivery
• Sentry — Error monitoring and performance tracking

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Project data is retained until you delete the project. Billing records are retained as required by law. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), isolated project environments (Kubernetes namespaces with network policies), secure credential storage, and role-based access control.
